These are my kind of recipes - 3 ingredients. I got it from a favorite site, Skinnytaste. Basically this was 2 bananas, mashed, 1 cup of quick oats and crushed pecans. Into a 350°F oven for 20 minutes and voila, done!
I added a little splash of vanilla and shake of cinnamon.
I got 9 cookies unlike her 16 but I realize mine were bigger. I used parchment paper on my sheet pan. I mashed them down halfway through baking.
Well, these taste healthy. You are not going to go "Wow!", but you will not feel too guilty eating them either... sweet enough and the oats and nut crunch do the job.
Good with milk. I think I'll have a couple for breakfast tomorrow.
Cooking is my hobby and I love it. It relieves my stress. I use recipes as a base line...I find a few and compare. Then I make my own personal concoction from what I've learned. This blog has become my personal cooking journal. It helps me remember what I've made/liked and didn't. But mostly, this is for my son. I hope he makes some of these dishes one day...One of the nicest things he's said to me is that he's never had a bad meal with me, at home or at a restaurant (research wins!).
